Sorting out the costs of therapy in my practice depends on your insurance.
- Private health insurance (PKV), work-related coverage (BG), and assistance programs usually cover the bills.
- If you have public health insurance, we can work through a reimbursement process.
- If you’re covering the costs yourself, that’s an option too.
- Special rules apply if you’re part of the German military, federal police, federal railway, or postal service.
In Germany, the fees for therapy follow the Fee Schedule for Psychotherapists (GOP), similar to the one for doctors (GOÄ). The exact cost of psychotherapy may vary based on what we agree on.
